Ingredients:
- 1 package of frozen saba bananas you can buy this at any Asian Market in freezer section let it thaw prior to frying, you can also buy fresh and let it ripe.
- 1 cup cooking oil for deep frying -1/2 cup organic raw cane sugar (can sub brown sugar)
- 1/2 cup coconut sugar (can also just used brown sugar)
- Skewer stick
Directions:
Thaw the Saba bananas the skewer, let the oil heat up slowly in a deep wok or pot, once the oil starts to boil add sugar and let it dissolve and float on top add banana and slowly coat the sugar while its cooking for about 3-5 mins. Once bananas are coated with sugar you may take it out and let it rest for the sugar to harden, cool it down and enjoy!
